QINTI DOCUM FACILITATES THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS, EDUCATORS, AND RESEARCH PROJECTS
A case study by Reina Valenzuela, Head Coach of HETP
The coaching hours received allowed me accelerate some of the processes that were stuck and not well-oriented.
-Bladimir Quito, Qinti Docum LLC
Bladimir Quito, the founder of Qinti Docum LLC, is an Ecuadorian who emigrated to the United States at 18. He had the opportunity to complete several university studies that have allowed him to develop a career in the public sector and private institutions in Ecuador and international organizations. He held the position of Vice Consul of Ecuador in New Jersey. His eagerness to give the best of himself to his community led him to leadership positions at various organizations. He discovered his passion for supporting and encouraging other young Ecuadorians to pursue higher education and decided to use his experience and skills to make it happen.
That is when Qinti Docum LLC was born. Bladimir and a team of specialists began building a bridge between higher education institutions in Ecuador and the United States. Bladimir opened communication channels to facilitate agreements between institutions that saw the potential and shared the same enthusiasm for expanding their reach beyond borders.
However, building a business enterprise differs from leading a non-profit organization or a government agency. Entrepreneurship brought with it the challenges inherent in any project. Bladimir sought the assistance of the SHCCNJ as he explored options to develop a business structure, refine his value proposition, and develop a business model.
During HETP 2022, with the guidance of the assigned coaching team, he found a clear path to success and began implementing growth strategies.
The Challenges
The challenges for Bladimir required a shift in his mindset from public service to entrepreneurship, from community leader to business leader.
For Qinti Docum, the primary target market was no longer the students as beneficiaries of his services but the educational institutions responsible for their academic preparation. With this realization, the next steps became clear:
- Becoming the CEO of a for-profit company that offers educational consulting services.
- Refining the value-add as a facilitator bridging the gaps between educational institutions.
- Creating core service pillars and focusing on business goals.
- Offering service packages unique to the industry.
Expanding the network of providers for value-added services. - Building a profitable business while maintaining the spirit of community service and the ultimate goal of helping local immigrant and international students achieve higher education degrees.
How HETP helped
